Crushing on the Best friend =/

So i have the biggest crush on my bestfriend and he knows it. there are moments that we share that are like awww.. We were kinda talking relationship wise for a while. then we both ended up going back to our ex's so nothing happened. We still talk and hes still with his girl friend and im single now.. there are times when he expresses that he doesnt want his girl friend and kind of hints that he wants me. he switches on and off but there is something about him that makes me just like him as more than just a friend. I feel like he might have a thing for me still but who knows. should i just move on and continue being just friends or make my move and see where it goes?
