If I do it it could change the world for the better but naysayers will tear me down. Is it worth the risk?
I'm not getting into the details because I'm not 100% on board with it and don't want to reveal it. First, it's not a product or service. It would just be controversial and send a needed message.
The problem with that is anyone who it affects or anyone that is not in agreement with me will come after me with every skeleton in the closet I have. They may even go after my family's skeletons.
I kinda don't mind about them coming after me. I worry about my family. No harm can come to them but I'm sure whistleblowing could lead to unscrupulous people being paid to discredit them. In a society based on reputation, this would be bad.
But the statement I want to make is important. It needs to be said. It needs to be done.
What would you do? Is there a certain threshold you'll break to do what is necessary or leave it up to someone else to 'maybe' make the statement for you, ultimately keeping the people close to you out of harm's way?
