do you think your husand could fall back in love with you if he says he has not loved you in years?

my husband has said he has been miserable for years and does not love me anymore. when i ask him why he wont leave he says he is stayind for the children and has been for years. We are trying to work on things but i seem to be the only one trying to change. He says years of being miserable will take time to change and love me again. Should i stay or go?
