Should I tell on my roommate?

My new college roommate smokes weed a lot. I have asked him not tos moke it in the room because I don't want all my stuff to smell like it. However he still does it and I'm starting to get tired of asking him not to. Should i just tell on him or flush his pot down the toilet?
