It's called "unrequited love", which is a love that is not openly reciprocated, even though reciprocation is usually deeply desired. The beloved may or may not be aware of the admirer's deep affections.
So, you can let him know how you feel and then you can hope that he'll want to be with you instead (that's the passive approach) or you love him so much that you want to have him all to yourself and thus you try to seduce him into leaving his girlfriend and being with you (that's the active approach, but be mindful that since he is in another relationship, you will have to beware of the girlfriend if you do that).
