Side 1 says...
We've been living together for the past year and a half and my boyfriend lost his job in July of last year. He's been collecting unemployment but he's about to run out. The thing is I work full time and I know when I get home and he's fooling around on facebook or playing games he didn't do a damn thing all day. He doesn't take any initiative and it's really upsetting me. He tells me he's doing all he can. But I checked out some of the places he said he applied to try and be a reference and they said they have no record of him ever sending a resume.
If we have a serious future, how can I trust him when he doesn't even try to help us? He made me feel like an idiot by lying and I don't know who's the bigger jerk.

I try every day. Sometimes I do lie about sending to places she thinks I should because I don't have the skills to even do that job. I try to find things I'm good at but it's so hard. I do play games but I'm so burned out from looking for jobs it's taking a toll on me. I don't feel healthy. I don't think she's ever tried once to look for a job for 8 hours a day. its horrible!. I still have the extensions for unemployment so I should be good til summer. It doesn't stop me from looking though. I wish she understood how tough it is. She's never been here. Maybe some of you have and can tell her how bad it is.
