We've been roommates for the better part of 2 years and Caitlin just got a dog about a month ago. She's so in love with it which is great, but she doesn't ever consider the fact that the thing pees everywhere when we're at work and she's made no effort to have him trained or do it herself.
Sometimes we'll go days before we see where the smell is coming home.
Don't get me wrong. I love living with Caitlin and we don't fight often, but her lack of considering how I felt about the dog (forgot to say she never asked if it would be ok since she thought she would keep it in her room) and the fact it's making the carpet stink is making me mad.

She isn't giving Mumbles a chance. Yeah, he's had a few accidents but we always clean them up. The apartment does NOT smell. I have been teaching him to wait to go to the bathroom until I get home and then I take him out.
I also don't really think I need to ask permission to get myself a dog when he stays in my room or outside 95% of the time.
She's just being anal.
