Okay, first of all this is an ongoing issue. Our dryer is older and usually requires that you restart it for an extra 20-30 minutes before your clothes are actually dry. I constantly remind him of this!
So he brings a load of laundry upstairs, I start folding it, yep it's damp. At first it was just a pair of jeans, ok hang those up to dry. Then a pair of sweatpants, threw them over the back of a chair. Then 2 shirts, I start getting a little frustrated. Damp socks...a towel...I give him a look as I start hanging clothes on every available surface of our bedroom.
He gets angry, starts grabbing everything and takes the laundry basket back downstairs to put back in the dryer.
He KNOWS that the dryer needs to be re-started after the cycle. We go through this over and over again. I appreciate his help with the laundry, I really do. But it isn't a help if I have to hang damp clothes all over the place and wait another day for them to air-dry.
Am I unreasonable? I don't think so. Damp clothes get musty. All he needs to do is re-start the dryer for a little longer, and I'll be happy.
