We Made A Promise

My boyfriend, Edward, had made a horrible mistake back in January by sleeping with ex sisterinlaw, and best friend, Nikki. We talked it over and decided to stay together and work it out since we are engaged and have a son together.

For awhile Nikki was harassing us and I assume it was because she wanted Edward. We told her to leave us alone and we both promised to never have contact with her again, for any reason.

I recently found out the Edward had texted Nikki. He said it was just a harmless text of saying Hi and that she texted him back about all sorts of things. But what makes me upset is the fact that he broke our promise and then never told me.

He said that it wasn't important enough to tell me and that I didn't ask him anyways.

If I hadn't of found out on my own, he would have never told me. And that's exactly what happened when he cheated on me. He hid everything and only told me after he was caught.
