Telling Me How To Act In Public

My girlfriend has a big stick up her butt. She is sooo worried about what other people think. Even the people she doesn't know. She is out to impress everyone and make them think her sh*t don't stink.

She wants to be like that...fine. Telling me how to act around other people isn't going to fly with me. She says I talk down to people, ask too many questions, and am too sarcastic and people don't get my sense of humor. She likes to point this out by saying something to make me look stupid.

Example:

We went out with a few of her college friends since we were at her homecoming last weekend. They are both married and I said something to their husband about getting tied down. She told them I needed to grow a pair and do it myself and they all laughed at my expense. Then, she scolded me when were were alone saying it was inappropriate to say that to people I just met.

I don't think I'm wrong for expressing my opinion. They knew each other for 3 months before they got married and she's already cheating on him. I didn't come out and say that!

It's just annoying that she says something at all. I am not drunk making an ass out of myself and I don't feel I need to be reprimanded by the prim and proper prima donna.
