My Boyfriend Won't Let Me Go Out To A Club

Well i am turning 17 in December and he is turning 18 in November. When he turns 18 he wants to go Clubbing and i told him i didnt want him to go clubbing because i dont trust him. He has a history of cheating in the past so i dont know if he is capable of going to a club and not cheating because he is going toget wasted. I am just trying to be a good boyfriend and prevent us from braking up because i love him and i always want to be with him. I dont want to lose the trust i have for him and thats why i dont want him to go to a club without me. I at least want to be there. Whos right?
