Mad At Me For Not Reading Her Mind

She was on vacation and the battery to her car died and she called me about 10 AM while I was at work. I asked her a couple questions about it and suggested she have the people from the apartment office see if they could jump start it. She got mad and got off the phone with me. Then she texted me that I should have offered to come home during lunch to look at the car (about 20 minutes away). I had already figured that she wanted to get it fixed quickly and therefore the thought hadn't occurred to me. My job is flexible and I have no problem with doing it, but I don't think she should get mad at me without at least asking me to do something first. I offered to come during lunch and fix it after the idea came up. Ultimately, I fixed it when I got off work because it was completely dead (the apt. guy tried jump starting it).
