About Me

I have 28 years of experience as a licensed psychotherapist as well as 14 years as a trained life coach. In addition, I have had an academic career as a professor of sociology who pioneered a course in the sociology of human sexuality and taught it for 25 years. Finally, I am an experienced mediator of interpersonal disputes who worked in the New York City court system.
My approach is first to meet with each partner separately one time in order to ensure I am getting a truly honest description of the problem(s) from everyone's perspective. After that, I will conduct a joint session.
