Should I bowl with an ex boyfriend who is just a friend or not?

I am 50 and am happy in my new relationship. I was asked to bowl on a league with an old boyfriend. I love to bowl and this is with a lot friends. My new boyfriend is working most week ends and I just sit around. Why not bowl with all my friends? I don't want to cause any problems because I care very deeply about the non bowler. I just need to get out and this is the only position open on this league. What should I do?
