He doesn't call or text for 3 days, assume it's over?

I met this guy on an online dating site... we are both in our 30's and are terrible at "dating". He could never plan a date it was just we are going to do something, and most of the time with his friends and not one on one.. that was only in the bedroom after the "date". So needless to say, there was no romance, just sex and fun with his friends. But for some reason, I did like this guy, I thought he did have potential.
BUT... He would call me and text a couple of times a day and send an email during work here and there and then it stopped 100%. Is it just me or would you also take a hint and figure it must be over?
