my Girl friend will not do anything ,without asking her dauhter first ,her daughter runs her life and she 17

I do not know what to do anymore i been dating her for 4 years and nothing has changed I talk to her all the time abought her daughter all the time. Her and daughter father died 7 years ago and she brings it up that she has no father i tried to do my best what should i do ?
