should i send my child to a small vilage school where ratio of teachers is 1:9 or to a larger, mixed school?

Never realised that choosing a school for your kids was so difficult. We live in an area with some v good schools. the two closest to us are a large mixed school with a varied intake and a small village school with an niitake of 10 and whole school size of 90 kids.

I think a small school would give advantages to my 3 kids but i still feel a bit uncomfortable about being "snobby" about the larger school. Should i expose the kids to a greater variety of people and behaviours or would a smaller school nurture their education in a nicer environment? I Would appreciate thoughts/ advice/ common sense ideas as i make my mind up over the next few weeks. Thanks.
