should we keep on traveling even the budget is tight?

We are always behind on our bills cause vacation should be first.He does not have a credit card anymore cause he can't and won't pay it anymore. We now depend on the only remaining credit card that we have which is always max out. We are a family of four with only one parent working and no savings at all. His defense is that, we only spend $300.00-1,500.00. 2 days-7 days. 2 adults and 2 kids. with a gross monthly of 2,930.00. Vacation takes place every time the kids have breaks from school .
