Should we go or not?

This is really not a side taking question but more of opinions needed!! My husband works out of town at least one week out of the month. He is gone this week and will be gone thru the weekend. I am debating on whether to make the 6 hr trip to where he is to visit him w/ our 4 yr old son. Our son is on fall break from school starting tomorrow and am thinking of heading out of town w/ him to see his dad. We really have nothing else to do - just dreading the 6 hr road trip w/ a very talkative 4 yr old and a 6 mo old pup! Would you go if you were in my shoes?! Weather is supposed to be nice!!
