Is he worth my time?

i'm young and very in love with my boyfriend who is abit younger than me. i go to alot of effort to make him happy, i will write him letters, call him, text him, go wherever he wants me to go- he doesn't do this back. he knows that i'm dealing with depression and says he wants to help, but he doesn't seem to DO anything. he's all talk, no action. i dont feel like im smothering him- he doesn't say that i am. so am i wasting my time? or is there some way i can let him know that he can help??
