Jealousy question....

I understand the dynamics behind jealousy - the insecurity or low self-esteem issues, etc. How best, though, do you behave in order to fight off the green-eyed monster when a gal is getting around your man - even though your man is showing no interest - but the girl is. I understand that the guy can step forward and show his interest in his woman by putting his arm around her or complimenting her in front of the girl or whatever. It's just that overall feeling of wanting to say, "How dare you!!!" to the gal that gets me. Yall's thoughts please! Especially, men, how best would you like to see your wife/gf react?
