I want to do accounting but people say that accounting is not for girls ... is it true ???

Most people scare me by saying that accounting is a fulltime job and girls can't cope with all that stress so I should give up on it. Now the trouble is that, I also want to get married and have a family in the future ... sometimes I worry that my job will ruin my family .... is it right?
