I've been married for 20 yrs. I love my wife but we argue so much and it gets out of hand. Divorce?

Been to counseling several times. Wondering if divorce is the answer. The children hear alot of the arguing and the police have been called several times. She doesn't believe in divorce but I'm tired of all the arguing. What to do..
