Should I move out over something seemingly so small???

I live with my roommate whom I've known about 5 years. We get along absolutely great 99.9% of the time and we're really good friends. But, I absolutely cannot stand his friends. They give off a vibe that they want me gone just so I won't get in the way of them hanging with my roomie. They can be extremely stuck up, and, I could be imagining this, but it seems as if roomie acts stuck up as well only when they're around. On the other hand, roomie doesn't like my friends either. This is a very sticky situation because my friends he doesn't like are my best ones, and I hang out with them all the time. I'm sure he feels the same way about his. This is causing a rift in our relationship, and I am thinking of moving out just to try to save the friendship. Normally I would just sit down with him and tell him the whole situation and how I feel, but I don't want to cause a stir. I'm sure this will blow over soon enough, but any advice would be appreciated.
