This is a theoretical question but how can you tell if someone is cheating on you?

Well.. mostly theoretical.. I tend to have a lot of fears and anxieties in general so it is almost impossible for me to differentiate between the kind of gut feeling you are meant to trust and just plain anxiety induced paranoia. Add to that I have been hit on multiple times by people wanting to cheat on their partners and have had friends who have been cheated on and also been "the other woman or man". Also add to that that I am in a long distance relationship with my fiance who tends to get upset that I don't trust him if I ask too many questions so then I end up feeling guilty for not being more trusting but suspicious because he refuses to defend himself.. :S

I wasn't sure whether to put this under dating or marriage because we are somewhere in between right now..
