Friends who don't benefit your marriage. Should you turn away from them?

"Should my husband continue to have a relationship with a friend I do not like and don't feel is healthy for my marriage? Should he continue a relationship with this friend after knowing that he put you down and said mean things to your friends about you? I am wondering because i have been battling my spouse sneaking around having a private relationship because i don't approve. male friend to male friend relationship. This means lying about where he is going etc...so that I don't know about it since i dont approve. Should a marriage eliminate these types of friends as I think it should OR should I just shut up and let it be?
