My child has a Peanut Allergy

Hello I just found out that my son is allergic to peanuts, he had some peanut butter for the first time and blew up in the face, got hives all over his body and a red rash, we where lucky that his breathing was fine. but just wanting to know if anyone has this problem?? And is there any advice anyone can give me???
