What should I do if my partner has an obtuse sense of logic dealing w/ simple situations?

I recently developed a snoring problem. My partner wakes up with the noise, goes to the couch and complains about it the next morning. He has not bought earplugs for himself nor Breathe Right strips for me. But he continues to complain. However, I had to buy a sleep mask and earplugs b/c he has to sleep w/ the TV on. I cannot sleep with it on. With the years, I was able to turn down the volume but not the TV itself. So I no longer use the earplugs, just the mask. So it's ok that I have to shield myself from his habit but he can't shield himself from my problem.
