Work for my mother

My Mother currently keeps my 16 month old and in exchange, I pay her rent, internet, utilities. She wants to look for some ways to earn some extra money, since her retirement does not give a lot. I am so busy with work and I am a horrible cook, mom is a great cook. I was thinking of paying her to cook the family some meals a few times a week. I am also hoping this would save us money in the long run since we would not be eating out as much.

Does anyone else have ideas? Or ideas on how this would work.
