At the Car Wash...who was wrong? Me or her?

I took my car to the car wash yesterday and realized that after I'd put my car through the wash, I'd forgotten my wallet at home. I called my friend, whom I'd dated for 5 years, but still have a very close relationship with, in hopes she would provide her credit card details to the cashier over the phone so I could proceed, but she told me 'no'...she didn't feel comfortable giving out her credit card details. Though she has it on seamless, and on a number of other web sites across the internet. I said ok and hung up. I called my brother, and he handed over his details immediately. She called me 5 mins later asking if I was upset. I said yes. Should I have been?
