Is he right for feeling this way?

I met a guy some time ago. We never got serious and only had a sexual relationship. I met my current man and maintained a friendship with the other guy until he asked me out while knowing I was with my current man. I then stopped talking to the other guy, not telling my current of why.
Recently, I started talking to the other via myspace, at first my current didnt mind until he found out why I stopped talking to the other guy, he then said he felt disrespected by the other guy and now doesnt want me talking to him.
Is he right for feeling this way?
