Will saying I'm sorry ever be enough for this?

I went out with a few of my girlfriends and ended up dancing with a guy. I had a little bit to drink I got close to the guy. He ended up kissing me and I kissed him back. Waking up the next morning I felt so bad for my boyfriend. Should I tell him or should I let it go cos I know it will kill him?
