Do I kick him out, and how?

I've been dating my boyfriend for about 6 months. He moved to the other side of the country so we could be together, leaving all his family behind. I am a 27 year old single mother. My child, boyfriend and I live with my dad. The boyfriend sometimes helps out around the property, and my child and I are here because I take care of my elderly grandparents who live close by. I also take college classes online and my daughter is in school. I keep the house "kept" but he contributes almost nothing, only when asked 5 times or more. We live in a small town and jobs are hard to come by, but not impossible. I have asked several times when he plans on getting a job, and all he says is theres nothing around, but hasn't gone to look for one. So basically, my family and I are supporting him and his gaming habit. I am to the point where I'm not sure if I would be upset if he went back home, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I don't want things to end badly, but its not like he can just grab his stuff and go, it would take money, my money, to get him back home, and time. I planned on asking if I should do this, but have realized in asking, I have no choice. My question now is, how do I handle this. ty
