Side 1 says...
My girlfriend wants to go take a walk and, when we're about to leave, she puts on the earphones to her mp3 player. I tell her that I find it absurd and completely antisocial. She tells me that there's no problem.

Side 2 says...
I just bought a new Mp3 player yesterday, when we are about to leave for a walk, I put on the earphones, but I don't turn on the music. We're planning to take a walk that will take about an hour. I figure that if ever comes a time in the walk when we're not talking or discussing anything, I can listen to music. Bob really doesn't like me to wear the earphones, even if I'm not listening to anything. I don't think that the fact that I'm wearing earphones is a big deal. I find his attitude to get angry at me for wearing earphones overly controlling. He stays angry until I give in and take off the earphones.
