So my boyfriend and I finally GO somewhere for a vacation. Not to his cousin's for the weekend or a hotel for a night or his parents but a real vacation in a plane n stuff. We went to this place in the Bahamas called the Atlantis. Pretty upscale place - at least for me. It was like $300 a night for our rooms and that was a discount.
That's all we did. We didn't eat, drink, go on excursions, do anything but sit in the pool or go to a beach. We didn't spend money AT ALL. I wasn't allowed to buy soveniors not even a tshirt.
Why do you go to a place that you can't afford and expect to sit in the room the whole time or not do anything fun. Go to a cheaper place and do stuff.
I think he was trying to show off to some other people like his friends. They were impressed. I wasn't.

Sensationalist on the title? Seriously, 7 days at a luxury resort is hardly hell. We ate at the cafes and small cheaper places yes. I wasn't paying $100 a day just on food, another $100 or more drinking all day, and $100 for an hour on a jet ski.
I had a wonderful time just being in the pool and the ridiculously nice room with you. And now I feel like a giant bitch for saying it. But you're right. I should have taken you to Myrtle Beach instead and used the rest to go to Vegas with the boys. I miss Dirty Dick's wings.
I realize you paid for a third of the trip but you relied on me for the spedning while we were there so at least I thought about that. Figuring it out your way I would have spent about $2500 more than I did.
You'll get that kind of trip if we are married.
