I'm here to complain about my wife. She basically chooses to watch any show that's on TLC instead of watching something important like the presidential debate last night. So she watching some show about Amish people in the other room while I watched the debate in the game room.
It's fine if you want to do that. But don't vote. She's going to vote. She is so clueless to the issues and what's actually behind the problems our country is facing. Her biggest concern is gay marriage and education. I'm not discounting either of those but there are other issues which are more pressing than those and because she finds no interest in foreign policy, she'd rather watch some stupid little girl and her backwoods family or some fake Amish people fake a fake show.
I love my wife but when there's talk about who should have the ability to cast a vote, she and everyone else like her should take a test on the issues before they can push that button or pull that lever.

The debate is a bigger 'fake' show than Honey Boo Boo by far! You can't tell me Romney and Obama actually mean what they say. So it's really no big deal if I watch the debates or not. I will see the highlights on Yahoo today and I would rather skip all the moderator fluff, the commercials, and the fake smiles they give to the cameras. Honey Boo Boo is 7 years old and can't really fake anything. Her family doesn't seem smart enough to fake it either. Hell the people on that show are more real in their own hillbilly ways than the two rich guys running for president.
I want entertainment after work. Honey Boo Boo will relax me. I don't need to get worked up before bed while watching the debate. And me watching just like me voting won't change a damn thing. I'm educated enough to know that.
