why is it somone you are not attracted to wants to offer you the world.....

well im 34 looking for a real relationship although all the men i've encountered latley just play games..... when does that stop??? and this other person i've known for a year now wants to offer me anything i want, but i'm not attracted to him what would you do?? i dont want to give the guy false hope and i also just dont want to settle,confused please advise me.
