Im 60 my wife gets jealous and mad because I use facebook to talk to Grade School female friends am I wrong?

I was found and sent a e-mail frome multiple friends on facebook female and male that live 3000 miles away these are friends I have know since the 60's and my wife gets mad because I speak with the females.
