My husband over talks me or interrupts when I'm talking to friends & he starts to talk to them. what 2 do

I have told him I feel that its rude to do that when I'm talking. That I never do that to him. I sometimes grab his hand to kind of tell him tostop till I'm done. I feel its not very respectful to me
