Is it weird to be good friends with your ex husband/wife?

My ex comes over and hangs out at my house. He has a beer with my boyfriend. My boyfriend's ex wife goes to Vegas and we meet up with them. I get annoyed and I think he does too but we don't say anything because we are being "cool" about it. Should we talk about how we really feel? Should we just get over it for the sake of the children?
