How should this situation be handled?

I believe in accountability and my partner says she does as well, however when it comes to being held accountable she oftentimes withdraws and acts as if nothing has happened or needs to be addressed. She has been responsible for decrease in our finances, a poorly kept home because of a lack of stewardship and all these could have been prevented through communication. Do I pick up the slack, gripe about it or just leave it be?
