My step daughter is complaining about the potential gifts she will get at her baby shower. She believes it is

rude that people are buying her items that are not on her gift registry. Should I tell her to be happy she's getting anything and risk the *wrath" of the stepdaughter or just ignore it. Oh and I bought her things that were not on her registry too in addition to giving her the shower.
