is 1 week of bleeding normal after missing only 1 pill?

so im on BCPs and i missed one last week. I took the pill the next day when i remembered. I started bleeding but i knew some was normal when you miss a pill. However I still havent stopped bleeding and its been a week since i missed it. And ive been taking the hormone pills since not the sugar pills. Is this much bleeding normal?
