go back to an dishonest mother or not

december 2008 my mother added up al the gifts she gave me and my daughter so that she could hold this of my inheritance. She gave my brother a house for free but my list contains birthdaypresents and other things (which my brother also recieved but that she doesn't mention) I never in my life had a good relationship with my mother. I haven't seen her for a year and I finally had the feeling i was able to breathe and live my life without her being a controlefreak! Now she told my daughter that i have to come back to the family. I feel free and happy for the first time in 44 years, I see my daughter caught in the middel of this. What do I do? Honestly, I would prefer to die standing up than to crawl through their dust again.
