im having so many problems with my boyfriend...

today i had a fight with my sister and i got really upset i needed some consolation. so i called him and asked if we could meet tonight cause i need to get out of this place. and he no. cause he has work to do and we said that we were going to hang out during the weekend. i told him the reason why i suggested that we met, but he obviously didnt care. pls tell me am i behaving immaturely? i need someone whos more sensitive i guess. someone who could be my haven throught the storm...
