Agreeing to watch tv/movie together & one starting it without the other ok if it is recorded?

One of us doesn't understand the frustration and calls it trivial bs, and it really bothers the other one that we agree to watch something together, however, it is started without both parties. Since it is recorded it s thought to be easily rewound and now big deal. Someone's feelings are always hurt despite the explanations, but for less than a year of marriage and to have happened 3 times is conerning. Thank you.
