Are people getting too rough on Sidetakers?

I've noticed lately that some members are really getting angry when other people have disagreed with answers they have given. There have been insults posted and people accused of lying. Things get so heated sometimes that the questions get lost in the debates over answers. Some people are so busy critcizing other people's answers that they seem to have forgotten the real purpose of the site. Am I wrong? Or are things getting out of control here?
