In need of some words of wisdom!!
My dear cousin, who is like a brother, was diagnosed with colon cancer yesterday. He is only 49 or 50 and feel this is a death sentence for him.
I am looking for some words of comfort, optimism and encouragement to share with him. I am so shocked by the news (for we are the same age) the only encouraging words I can think of is "IT IS 10% WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU & 90% HOW YOU REACT TO IT" any encouragement , words of wisdom, stories of colon cancer survivors would be greatly appreciated.
