Should I keep hoping for a miracle?

Me and my guy recently broke up because his parents doesn't approve of me... somehow I have faith that it all can still work out... since all he has to do is to convince them...? How hard it can be?! I'm unable to move on due to my high hopeful nature... what should I do?!
