A new use for old lockers???

In our basement there are 4 attached lockers. (Probably about 5 feet.) My dad wants to get rid of them but my sister and I love the vintage, rustic look they have. I really want to use one in my room, but they are connected. So, one-any way to disconnect connected lockers? And, two-does anyone have any ideas for lockers in bedrooms? I think it's an awesome idea and I really wanna give my room some more character. Thanks!
